We quote every job individually based on timber species, type of joint failure, and time required on the bench. You receive a written price before any work begins, and that price does not change unless you ask for extra work.

1. How prices are set
Initial estimates are given from clear photographs. A binding quote is confirmed once we inspect the piece in person at collection or during an on-site visit. The quote covers bench labor, adhesives, finishing materials, and return delivery if agreed.
2. Payment methods
You can pay with cash upon handoff or via direct bank transfer against the invoice. We do not store or process card information on this website.

3. Invoicing
Invoices are issued on completion of work or upon delivery of the restored furniture back to your address. Each invoice states the item treated, the work carried out, any materials used, and our bank transfer details. Payment is due on the day the furniture is handed back.
4. Deposits and materials
For standard residential jobs under £300, no deposit is required. For major restoration work, commercial batches, or custom timber orders exceeding £300, we request a 25% deposit before timber or hardware is purchased.
5. Late payment
Invoices not settled within seven calendar days of delivery incur a flat £20 administration charge plus interest at statutory UK commercial rates.
